We have a new opportunity for an Account Manager to join the Motorsport Sales team, responsible for the sale of Motorsport products and services, and the proactive development of opportunities within defined customers/regions to grow sales. This role involves extensive international travel to events worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of specific customers/teams including the development and maintenance of existing and new accounts
- Support key accounts at race events worldwide
- Manage a range of products and services offered by Prodrive/AMR to include product sales
- Implement and manage agreed trading terms covering the range of products and services across all accounts
- Responsible for processing and despatching of customer orders via sales operation team
- Update customer files, database and customer account information
- Accurate and timely forecasting of customer activity by account
- Assist the Sales Manager / Senior Sales Executive with any car sale discussion / opportunity that arise within your region
- Customer account debt control and cash flow management
- Provide Sales Co-ordinator with ongoing information and weekly updates regarding any relevant WIP jobs, major component rebuilds, and existing stock movements
- Monitor proof of export for VAT and IPR purposes
- Assist with regular updates to sales material, including parts catalogues, bulletins, technical updates as required
Who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar Accounts management role within the Automotive/Motorsport industry. Regional knowledge and expertise within a Motorsport sales environment and experience of selling both product and services is desired, as well as annual contract/programme negotiation. Knowledge of IFS and the ability to speak another language would be advantageous. You will have a flexible attitude, able to adapt from key team accounts to individuals, and be effective at building relationships both internally and externally. You must be willing and available to travel on event.
