Culina Logistics are a market - leading food and drink 3PL specialist. We are now recruiting for Warehouse Operatives on a full time, permanent basis at our Great Bear Wolverhampton depot.

Please be advised this site will be relocating to Minworth in January so access to your own transport is essential.

Shift Pattern – Any five in 7 nights.

Salary:

• £27,949 per annum plus night allowance of £20.35 per shift.

• Responsible for the receipt of incoming goods, order picking and loading of completed orders in a safety conscious and time critical environment.
• To Operate a VNA MHE equipment
• Use the radio data terminal (RDT) - access customers order using the RDT which details warehouse location and product information
• Ensure the correct amount of product is picked and built correctly and safely onto a pallet, in line with warehouse procedures
• Load picked and marshalled pallets from the marshalling area to outward bound vehicles using WMS
• Meet required Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
• Ensure that all equipment is operated safely and used in line with training
• Change FLT battery when the existing one is flat
• Adhere to clean as you go policy with a special focus on the company’s recycling and waste management program
• Ensure that all Personal Protective Equipment is used, worn and maintained at all times and that all breaches in Health, Safety and Welfare are reported immediately to the site management team
• Undertake further Warehouse Operative duties, as requested by supervisor/ manager

• Accredited VNA Licence is desirable.
• Experience of the safe operation of a electric powered pallet truck
• Experience of the safe operation of a electric ride on powered pallet truck
• Use of radio data terminal (RDT)
• Able to work under pressure
• Must possess a reasonable level of verbal & numerical reasoning
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Adaptable approach to training
• Conscientious and reliable
• Good working attitude
• Previous experience in a similar environment desirable but not essential
