General Operative Ballymena, Northern Ireland
Job description
We are recruiting general operatives for our client based in Ballymena. The clients business is meat processing and they specialise not only in the distribution of chilled beef and lamb and but also the distribution of other products such as burgers and sausages to local supermarkets, convenience stores, catering companies and independent retail butchers.
The general operative role will include the following tasks:
>Opening, checking and placing meat in a mincer
>Weighing minced meat into crates as per recipe
>Packing either sausages or burgers into trays
>Placing the finished trays into boxes and sealing the boxes
The shift pattern is Monday to Friday and from 0700hrs to 1600hrs but flexibility is required especially during the summer months when orders are likely to increase.
No previous experience is necessary as full training will be given. However, the client is looking reliable individuals, with good timekeeping and with a flexible approach to finishing later when workload dictates.
