The Role…
We are currently looking for an experienced General Manager to drive the business forward at our new opening in Manchester. You'll have an entrepreneurial spirit, a proven track record of growing a fantastic team and leading from the front. Relevant management experience within a high-volume business is a must, you'll be able to engage with members and guests alike and have excellent P&L/budgets control. We are looking for someone to hold and enjoy maintaining high standards across all areas of the business with a keen attention for detail.
As part of our Soho House team your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact.
- Lead the business to meet and/or exceed financial obligations and profitability through overseeing and actively participating in sales, labour productivity, cost control, and effective purchasing.
- Implement, monitor, adhere to, and enforce compliance with all Hotel and Club and company policies
- Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics, being attentive and genuine with staff.
- Oversee and approve staffing levels/scheduling within budgetary guidelines and in accordance with operational needs.
- Ensure all employees have the tools they need to perform their jobs.
- Develop staff to include mentoring/empowering staff and identifying growth potential and setting objectives to achieve next level position.
