Life Cafés & Resorts is a fast-growing, entrepreneurial company on a mission to deliver bespoke and sustainable Food & Beverage and unique Leisure experiences across our UK operations. With Café and Leisure operations in truly special venues across the country.
We are currently looking for an experienced Café General Manager to join our team at our Pop up Café in Gunnersbury Park, London reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
This is an exciting position, that would suit anyone with previous experience of running a high volume operation. Life Cafés & Resorts operate in venues across the UK, so there is plenty of room for development and progression within the company.
We are looking for someone who will be:
- Responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, maintaining inventory and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Passionate about coffee/food and customer service, have great people management skills coupled with the ability to demonstrate the highest standards.
- Able to demonstrate excellent financial and commercial awareness including responsibilities for stock control/ordering and the maintenance of high standards and food hygiene.
- Highly organised with great attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly to ever-changing priorities and deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage own workload and possess a positive attitude.
- A confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Ensuring a first class service and meeting the brand standards
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Previous experience in restaurant, café or catering management.
- Pro-active, energetic and positive personality, who shares company values.
- Ability to motivate, develop and train team members, positive approach towards professional development
- Degree level or equivalent experience level
- H&S and Food Safety qualifications
