We have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Supply Chain General Manager to join the team in Bristol on one of our customers sites, looking after the warehousing and transport for store deliveries and RDC's across the UK.

  • Develop strong management capability through effective performance management, mentoring and development of the team
  • Manage within the organisations HR processes to create a positive work environment
  • Fully embed DPDHL First Choice management principles at site
  • To deliver sustainable growth and business performance through effective management of operations and development of new business within the Customer business
  • Responsibility for ensuring delivery of superior service levels and operational excellence
  • Build trusted relationships with Operations Directors and customer to ensure all operational requirements are met
  • Develop strong relationships with the customer's management team
  • Ensure all aspects of service performance are delivered to target

  • Extensive experience managing within Supply Chain Division
  • Proven track record Logistics with previous team management experience
  • Operations management with P&L responsibility
  • Knowledge of sector customer trends and needs
  • CPC National & International (desirable)
  • Food Retail Logistic experience (desirable)
  • Union Experience (desirable)
