The mainstream OT school service for CYP offers a high-quality service to all pre-school and school aged children in Camden and covers more than 50 primary and secondary schools, nurseries and children’s centres as well as specialist units. The post holder will need to demonstrate a high standard of clinical practice with a wide breadth of paediatric OT management experience, as well as working with SEN depts. on EHCPs. The post holder will have overall responsibility for managing the large mainstream school team service for pre school, primary and secondary school age in the borough of Camden. There are shared responsibilities with another 8A post holder who works for 2 days in the school team.
Ensuring there is a fit for purpose paediatric OT service for all pre-school and school aged children in Camden which includes more than 50 primary and secondary schools, nurseries and children’s centres as well as specialist units. The post holder will carry out some clinical work to CYP with CP, ASD and manage the DCD clinic.
An important role is working with Camden SEN on the management of EHCPs.
