We are looking for an experienced Retail / Customer Service Manager to lead our new Barrie Branch. This isn’t your traditional bricks and mortar retail leadership role.
Here’s how it works:
- As a home-based selling organization our corporate marketing and sales teams take care of all of the heavy lifting with getting customers, managing them, scheduling in-home visits and selling.
- The Branch General Manager steps in after the project is sold and owns the total customer and team experience as we complete the project for the customer.

The Job
This is a true hands-on store/branch leadership role, ensuring that our outstanding customer experience (check out our Google reviews) is maintained and the Branch is working at optimal performance to realize monthly revenue while maintaining our awesome team culture.
Highlights include:
- Customer Experience - jump on any developing customer issues early and find win/win solutions with the customer - “how can I help”?
- Employee Experience - check in each and every day with each and every team member with a simple - “how can I help”?
- Speed - each stage in the Ops Process is completed as quickly as possible
- Quality - quality of measure results in quality installs
Specific Duties
- Manage the Branch
- Manage any escalated customer issues - immediately and directly. If you’re an experienced retail pro, you know what this means - finding win-win solutions with ‘those’ customers is critical to our long-term success
- Ensure payment at the end of each project
- Ensure receivables are prioritized and actively managed
- Direct Support and Manage all team members to ensure they have the resources to get their work done, eliminate any barriers and improve systems and processes. If you’re being a ‘pain in the butt’ to our corporate and management teams to get “stuff” done, you’re probably on the right track.

Who are you?
- Significant experience leading mid to large size retail or branch operations - minimum 10 years experience
- Experienced dealing with and resolving complex customer issues
- Naturally helpful and a problem solver
- Acts quickly and decisively - if an issue is developing, you jump on it.
- Smart (no time for modesty)
- Highly energetic
- Excellent verbal English language skills
- No industry-specific experience required, but bonus marks if you do - we have an industry specific training program to get you up to speed
- Valid driver’s license
- Currently and immediately eligible to work in Canada
