As an integral member of our production team, you will be responsible for the packing of malt for our export and domestic customers as well as for a number of plant hygiene activities.
Busy and hands, the General Hand role will see you:
- Completing export documentation in line with export regulations;
- Being responsible for malt packing for export and domestic customers;
- Performing authorised officer duties to meet quarantine requirements for export shipments;
- Setting and maintaining the highest possible standards for hygiene and pest control management within the plant;
- Rotating through other suitable roles as/when required.
Positive, motivated and safety conscious, to be considered for this role, you will possess:
- Commitment to set and maintain the highest possible hygiene standards and pest management throughout the sites. (This requires a demonstrated persistence and ability to thoroughly complete physical tasks);
- Excellent communication skills for close collaboration with Production Technicians, maintenance staff, internal stakeholders and external service providers;
- Process minded approach to maximise efficiencies in packaging and logistics;
- Team player willing to assist in other teams as required
- Authorised Officer certification is desirable however as a minimum, applicants without an AO accreditation must be eligible to become an AO and be capable of providing 100 points of identification and also a National Police Check (<12 months old).
