We are CH&CO, we’re proud to take a more thoughtful, mindful approach to the food experiences we source, prepare and present. We are recruiting for a Night Front of House Assistant to work at Sky Studios.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities: • Serve all food to the highest standard and in line with the CH&CO style using the correct tools and presentation techniques.• Prepare and serve all beverages in a timely manner and to the CH&CO standard.
• To assist with food preparation in kitchen to the CH&CO standard as required
• To set up service counters for service and keep the service areas clean, tidy and presentable in line with the CH&CO standards and to ensure the availability of product during all service periods.
• Clean and wash up all equipment, kitchen and service areas to comply with cleaning schedules.
• Under the guidance of the GM / AGM ensure that merchandising at service counters and dining areas have products correctly priced, labelled and in date.
• Work with colleagues to maintain food availability during service periods.
• Assist in the cleaning and clearing of tables polishing of cutlery.
• Clean and replenish vending machines, if necessary, with change and product and deal with minor vending issues (blocked cans/incorrect loading). Report any vending issues that cannot be resolved to the AGM /GM.
• Handle the till and cash sales accurately and to take responsibility for the security of all monies in the till and assist with cashing up procedures.
• Assist in monthly stock take as directed.
• Prepare and serve all beverages in a timely manner and to the CH&CO standard.
• To ensure that service counters and dining areas display appropriate merchandising under the guidance of the General Manager and ensure that all products are correctly priced, labelled and in date.
• Assist in the preparation of tables and to ensure all cutlery and glassware is polished.
• Where necessary to clean and replenish vending machines / Home Zones with change and product and deal with minor vending issues and report any vending problems that cannot be resolved to the Catering / Vending Manager.
• Ensure all food items are displayed in accordance with the CH&CO standards to maximise sales and customer satisfaction.
• Complete all requested records and documentation accurately and clearly.
• Liaise with the General Manager on all faults and service delivery issues daily ensuring that offline machines are serviced and available for customers to use as quickly as possible.
• Report any losses of stock / cash to the General Manager.
