You can expect: Competitive salary and non-contributory pension 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days Life Assurance and Private Healthcare for you and your family A range of flexible benefits including Retail Discounts, a Bike4Work scheme and Gym benefits The opportunity to support a wide ranging CSR programme + 2 days’ volunteering leave per year Your key responsibilities Spending a great proportion of time focused on bringing in new clients and new assets (prospecting), building and sustaining long-term relationships on the Middle East Africa (MEA) desk in London Advise clients within the required regulatory framework and keeping abreast of all client-impacting initiatives from the respective market Proactively identifying client lending/ financing needs, involving lending specialists to further develop the opportunity to completion Act as the Accountable Client Owner with responsibility for all Anti-Money Laundering aspects of the client relationship; this includes Know Your Client in good quality and in a timely manner as well as account behaviour Where clients are not assigned an Investment Manager, own the overall suitability and appropriateness for client investments; taking client execution orders where required and ensuring that all corresponding checks are performed Your skills and experience Regulatory certification in the United Kingdom to a level 4 RDR (real distribution review) minimum or equivalent Good understanding of the governing regulatory framework including but not limited to applicable confidentiality/ secrecy/ data protection regulations and cross border rules where relevant Extensive experience in similar role with solid network of clients in the target coverage market is required (Middle East and/or Africa) Willing and able to develop other staff Educated to Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience plus fluency in other languages are a plus How we’ll support you Flexible working to assist you balance your personal priorities Coaching and support from experts in your team A culture of continuous learning to aid progression A range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your needs We value diversity and as an equal opportunities’ employer, we make reasonable adjustments for those with a disability such as the provision of assistive equipment if required (for example, screen readers, assistive hearing devices, adapted keyboards) About us and our teams Deutsche Bank is the leading German bank with strong European roots and a global network.
