Campanile is one one of the six brands of Louvre Hotels Group, the fifth largest hotel chain in the world. Campanile hotels are two/three-star hotels and are characterised by the homely atmosphere and the informal, but professional contact with our guests. There are 17 hotels across the UK in cities such as Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. The number of rooms in our hotels varies from 47 to 130 rooms. Most of the Campanile hotels also have a restaurant, bar and one or more meeting rooms.

The main focus of a Food and Beverage team member is to greet customers and check they are enjoying their experience, as well as manage customer complaints. Guests need to feel engaged, making sure their expectations have not just been met but also exceeded. Whether it’s a quick breakfast or a full evening meal, our staff will go above and beyond for our diners, ensuring guests always look forward to a return visit.
As General Assistant you will be involved in duties such as:
- Participate in the organisation of department for service
- Light kitchen service
- Clean restaurant (furniture & floor)
- Prepare the table settings
- Prepare the back of house
- Prepare the meeting room & coffee break
- Welcome the guest. Take the food and drink order. Service of the food and drink. Ensure guest satisfaction. Clean the table away
- Participate in the after-service cleaning. Clean the guest crockery, clean the washing & restaurant area, clean the bar area, clean crockery for guest usage
Knowledge and Skills required:
Training
- Prior hospitality training
Experience
- Prior experience (1 year) in a branded environment in the hospitality industry
Expertise
(job-knowledge, technical skills)
- Basic food hygiene HACCP
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures
- Knowledge of service practices
- Ability to understand & follow guidelines
- Conversational English
