Background of department/role
As part of an awarding winning team, you will be expected to perform Grass cutting, pruning, lawn care, hedge cutting, weeding, and general maintenance of a high standard to all the university grounds.
Applicants will require a horticultural qualification, (or equivalent standard) and experience in a similar role is preferred. Having a Driving licence is an essential requirements.
Desirable requirements: chainsaw licence, sports ground experience and any other similar qualifications would also be advantageous.
Our team is a friendly and welcoming group. We work 7am to 3.30pm Monday-Thursday, and 7am-2:30pm Friday. Christ Church Canterbury offer a large holiday entitlement, bank holidays and a generous Christmas break.
