What you’ll do
- Ensure that the workshop operates in line with our safe systems of work, and all legislative and H&S processes are followed.
- Manage all KPIs, costs, productivity and compliance measures in line with targets.
- Manage your team to ensure the workshop delivers vehicle management and maintenance, including a robust quality control process in line with terms set out in any customer agreements.
- Plan and deploy sufficient resources to maximise technician productivity and service delivery expected by customers.
- Provide commentary on operational performance to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Setting the standards of compliance, behaviours and work ethics that place the customer at the heart of everything we do.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Management and control of all parts use within the workshop.
- Drive operational excellence against Company standards reducing operating cost, improving efficiencies, identifying, developing and sharing best practice across the network.
- Create and implement plans to drive improved engagement with your team.
What you’ve got
- Experience of workshop management
- Experience working with or for vehicle manufacturers.
- Ability to motivate and coach a team of technicians to deliver against productivity targets.
- Experience of delivering high levels of quality and service to customers.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
- Sound knowledge of H&S fundamentals in workshops and transport compliance legislation.
- Analytical, problem solver and results driven.
- Technical / professional qualifications: Level 3 NVQ Qualified Automotive, Service and Repair (or equivalent) preferred.
- Ability to travel to other sites within the UK as needed.
- Full UK Driving License.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
