About Our Company

We’re a fast-growing company, running over 400 events each month, and we have plans for continued sustained growth! About Your Role
As a Games Master, you are the heart of our organisation as you work to bring gaming events directly to our customers. You’ll be provided a Mario Kart, or should we say company pool car, and set of equipment. Training is at our Gravesend office but the parties will be in London and 60 minutes out of the M25. You’ll be responsible for setting up and running four types of gaming events which includes kid’s parties (up to twenty kids), larger events such as corporate events which you will run with other Games Masters, Pop Up Arcade Foundation events, and Pro Gaming After School and Holiday Programs. In the end, your goal is to create memorable gaming experiences for each participant.
Job Responsibilities
- Set up gaming equipment at the home, office, or other location of our customers (consider this your supply drops!)
- Run gaming event which may include setting up mini-tournaments or simply playing the games along with the participants
- Ensure all participants get the most of their experience by ensuring special memories are created
- Specific to our Pro Gaming After School and Holiday Programs: Teach fundamental gaming skills which will make children better gamers, but also help them grow in their lives outside of gaming
- Celebrate the final smashes and victory royales (and celebrate those who don’t get there as well – after all, gaming is about creating lasting memories!)
What We Offer:
We deeply value the dedication of those we work with and offer a variety of things to show our appreciation:
- Industry leading compensation. £11.40/hour, increasing four times (every six months) until reaching £12.50 after two years along with tips which vary by customer. Typical event tip is £10 – £20.
- Performance bonus. Up to 10% of your annual salary, paid out quarterly. Average quarterly bonus is around £250. Top Games Masters receive up to £500 a quarter.
- General time off (5 weeks a year) to ensure work/life balance.
- Discounted gaming equipment to the tune of 20% off most games and gaming equipment! Want to borrow gaming equipment? Feel free when it’s not being used for events!
- A reliable vehicle (pool car) that will safely get you to events with a company fuel card!
- Enjoyable company culture! Monthly games giveaways, company social events, snacks, and more!
- Be part of something bigger than yourself! Our Pop Up Arcade Foundation Events bring the magic of gaming to kids who could use it most. You’ll have the opportunity to work with organisations such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, George and the Giant Pledge, and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.
- Excellent advancement opportunities. We love promoting from within! Over the next 12 months, we’re planning to open offices in other parts of the country, leading to a range of opportunities in areas such as Logistics, Operations, Product Development, and Marketing! And fun fact! Our current Head of Operations started as a Games Master!
Your Qualifications:
- Full UK Drivers License with no more than six points
- Genuine passion for gaming. You certainly don’t need to know every game on the market for every console, but a passion for gaming is a must!
- Enjoy working with kids of all ages.
- Ability to create a fun, happy, and exciting environment
- Strong organisational skills
