JOB TITLE: Unity Courseware Programmer I
LOCATION: Orlando , FL and/or Remote
STATUS: Full-time, Exempt, Salary

DAILY AND WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Ø Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Digital Media, or related field, and a minimum of 1 years of progressively complex experience, preferred. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree, if applicable and or allowed under assigned contract.
Ø Experience with:
o Knowledge of C# and best practices for creating reliable and reusable code.
o Understanding of object-oriented programing.
o Experience with Unity Debugger.
o Must be able to create Unity Packages to import/export assets between projects.
o Familiarity with integrating 3D models and their associated textures into the game engine.
o Understanding of core Unity editor features such as the use of ScriptableObjects and Prefabs, and the Project Hierarchy.
o Knowledge of best practices to optimize a Unity Project such capping texture sizes, utilize Occlusion Culling and limited use of the Update Function.
o A basic understanding of generating baked light maps in engine and limiting real-time lighting.
o Experience with version control.
Ø Experience with NKO/JKO and/or Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), and Navy ILE helpful.
Ø Due to the nature of the work at Carley, this position requires U.S. citizenship
