Hello!
We are a small bespoke furniture company based in Bristol. (Konk Furniture) We make high quality, sustainable furniture from solid wood.
We are looking for someone full-time to help in our finishing section.
This will involve all aspects of furniture finishing and final assembly. For example, using hand orbital sanders, filling knots, using hand tools to remove waney edges, cutting boards to size with track and table saws, applying oil finishes - all to a very high standard.
Training for the role will be provided, but we require the following:
- Some previous workshop experience or practical experience with wood.
- Reasonable physical fitness, as we make some heavy items!
- Someone who has a passion for woodwork and furniture.
