Fund Operations Assistant

The Team
We have an exciting opportunity for a Fund Operations Assistant to join our Fund Data and Projects team. Reporting to our Senior Fund Operations Analyst, the Fund Operations Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the performance reporting processes, including fund factsheets.
The Role
The Fund Operations Assistant will support investment operational processes and procedures for fund launches, changes and closures. They will also be responsible for supporting the investment relationship and completion of actions log for our key external consultant partner. The successful candidate will provide support to internal stakeholders by providing timely and accurate fund launch and change data and instructions.
Supporting and providing periodic collation of fund data for scheduled quarterly and annual review process will be a vital part of the role and the Fund Operations Assistant will assist with adherence to the investment control framework and operational capabilities.
Key responsibilities
Support the successful operational control & delivery of investment data across relevant distribution platforms, specifically;
- Support insured fund factsheet production, operational reporting and other ad hoc tasks
- Work with external 3rd party data providers to ensure insured fund data is accurate and up to date
- Multi location support for fund launches, changes and closures across both the insured and platform fund range, including client specific blended funds, ensuring client expectations are met and our Investment Data Repository is accurate and up to date
- Fund change data compilation and validation – used for ad hoc client fund and externally managed fund changes typically implemented each month
- Maintenance of internal fund databases used to produce fund literature and factsheets, and to provide fund reference and fee data for use by multiple cross business teams
- Completion of periodic and annual data review tasks – asset mix data, growth rates data for blended funds, additional expenses
- Support the production of scheduled reporting (such as QIRs and workplace presentations) and ad hoc reporting to agreed timescales and standards.
- Support for strategic partner funds including annual review of fund AMC buffers, ad hoc and quarterly changes programme for a range of blended funds
- Support the standard monthly/quarterly performance reporting process and ensure accessibility across our fund range, including ESG components.
- Ensure internal data is sent to 3rd party vendors in a timely and efficient manner

- Broad range of experience in the Platform or Life & Pensions Businesses

- Knowledge of FE Analytics & FinXL desirable
- Experience of fund reporting, particularly within the ESG space
