Key Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Instrument and Protective Systems (I&PS) Engineer who has a good understanding of IEC 61511 SIS Lifecycle model and has working knowledge and experience of the key SIS Lifecycle activities.
- Participate in HAZOP \ CHAZOP Activities.
- Participate in Deterministic SIL Workshops as C&I Engineer.
- Develop SRS – Safety Requirements Specification.
- Develop SIS Safety Lifecycle Plan \ Functional Safety Management Plan.
- Carry out SIL Verification using simplified equations.
- Experience is use of proven tools such as TRAC \ ExSILentia for SIL Verification.
- Evaluation and verification of HIPPS Systems.
- Produce SIS Proof Test Procedures for end to end testing of the entire SIF Loop.
- Development of Maintenance strategies for Layers of Protections where credit has been taken as part of Risk Assessment \ SIL workshop.
- Assist with producing ARM – Alarm Response Manual.
- Review of HMI Philosophy for SIS.
- Work on Onshore and Offshore projects (Upstream, Midstream and Downstream).
- Modelling of complex SIS Loops using Fault Trees.
- Familiar with Failure Mode Effect Analysis.
Qualification and Other Requirements:
The candidate will have a Master’s degree, Chartered Engineers will be given preference. CFSE or TUV certified engineers will proven experience will be considered.
