Job description
What's the role about?
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Herbert Parkinson as a Functional Expert where you will be supporting the Filled Products Production Manager in managing the daily operation of the department. You will work between the factory floor and customer services and will be dealing with any quality issues or queries.
What you will be doing?
As a Filled Products Functional Expert you will be:
Working closely with the Production Manager
Assisting the Filled Production Manager in ensuring a high quality level of work output from Filled Operational Partners.
Completing time cards
Reporting and scheduling
Planning for future resource
Dealing with Returns and faulty products in the dept liaising with the Purchasing dept.
Covering duties in Production Managers absence ie , weekly team briefs , updating management cell packs
Be prepared to cover production where needed to cover holiday, sick etc.
Have understanding of how the machines work and be able to troubleshoot basic issues without the need for maintenance. If not reporting to maintenance through Emaint system
