Next Technik is a NetSuite SuiteCloud Development (SDN) partner with operations in Australia, North America, and the United Kingdom. Our native-built application for NetSuite (BFN) is "NextService" and enables customer engagement through Field Mobility. Because we are a growing global company, we are now looking for a project management-minded Functional Consultant to join the team! This person will be working remotely, but should be located in the UK.
Overview:
Functional Consultants are responsible for understanding and managing the delivery of the NextService solution to our customers. They own the customer relationship through the deployment phase, work closely with the customer to ensure the NextService solution meets their needs, and coordinate with technical consultants and their deployment lead to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and with exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities of this position:
- Regularly attend and participate in the Deployment Team Rituals.
- Commit to an in-depth understanding of the customer's business requirements and provide the best possible solution while demoing the product.
- Utilize your internal support network to deliver deployments; Ask for help within your local team, the global Deployments team, and the wider business when you need it.
- Follow all documented processes for your team and the wider business in good faith.
- Communicate early and often and follow up calls discussing key information with an email summary.
- Make a good first impression and own the customer relationship throughout the deployment phase; You're the first face they see once they become a customer, so the building of trust and tone for their ongoing relationship with Next Technik with you!
- Set and manage expectations on an ongoing basis; Ensure the customer has a solid understanding of the scope and expected timeline.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience/Skills needed to be successful:
- 2-4 years of NetSuite Support, Systems implementation or Administration experience (preferably leading implementations as well).
- Strong project management skills in order to manage scope, budget, and project timelines.
- Ability to multitask in order to handle multiple projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong empathy for customers and an ability to have difficult conversations as needed.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, customer support, or technical support.
