Job description
We're seeking a team member who can facilitate our customers' dining experience. The ideal candidate will be professional, efficient, and able to work in a high-pressure environment. Our organisation is looking for those individuals with experience in both the culinary and hospitality industry, who can work well under pressure and perform various duties including greeting patrons, taking orders and preparing food.
Responsibilities:
- Take orders from customers at the process table.
- Clear dirty dishes and replace with clean ones.
- Answer questions about the menu items.
- Bring drinks and/or food to customers in a timely manner.
- Recommend menu items to customers.
- Check on customers frequently to ensure they have everything they need.
- Respond to guest complaints with tact and good judgment.
- Call the kitchen when an item is out of stock.
- Handle the cash and credit card transactions.
