My career at Myerscough College – Inspiring Excellence
About the role
Do you strive to be part of a team that helps shape a fantastic learning experience for students?
Could you coach and mentor young people to achieve the best they can be?
Are you ready to make a difference?
If so, we would love to hear from you!
Apply today to join our Quality Team at our Warrington campus as a Progress Coach.
At Myerscough, we take the time to advance students’ personal development, behaviour and attitudes to each other, learning and work.
With your coaching and support in your rewarding role as Progress Coach, you can help unlock students’ potential and set them up for life after college by supporting them to overcome barriers.
This varied role will involve contributing to the planning and delivery of key aspects of the Personal Development Programme and support for students.
You’ll work with students either on a one-to-one basis or in a group session to help shape, develop and deliver pastoral support which will nurture and inspire them to be the best they can be.
In addition, you will work closely with parents/carers and cross-college staff including curriculum, inclusive learning, residential, careers, enrichment and counselling staff to identify learners who are at risk or need extra support put in place.
