Job description
Grovely Pets are specialists in Pet Nutrition & Healthcare and are very well known for the qualified nutritional advice they give to discerning pet owners, by offering a large and varied range of natural healthy feeds and treats.
We now have an opening for a full time Store Manager in our Winchester Store. We are looking for someone who has a friendly, bubbly and outgoing personality with extensive retail & Management experience in the pet retail industry.
They must be willing to work in a busy environment and be able to multitask and be a team player. You must have a passion for animals in particular dogs and be able to handle them too.
You will need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy bags of dog food up on a regular basis up to 20kgs.
You must be able to work 5 days a week including Saturdays which will be rostered.
Communication and literacy skills are essential . You must be smart, keep prompt timings and have knowledge of pet nutrition or be willing to undertake our strict training programme.
A full driving license and car are essential as you may be required to cover in one of our other stores.
Additional roles will include but are not restricted to:
Weekly ordering and budgeting, staff management, weekly managers meetings, stock rotation, deliveries.
Additional training will be given, but will require studying in your own time with online exams. You must be competent on a modern EPOS system and be IT literate.
