The Club

The Oxford and Cambridge Club is an exclusive private members Club with a Grade II*-listed Clubhouse in central London. The Club has 46 bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, 3 banqueting suites, 2 bars, 2 squash courts, a billiard room and extensive libraries. The Club has nearly 5000 members.

The Role

We are recruiting for a Security Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role. The role is a full time position with a mixture of shifts working any 5 days out of 7 to join our existing Security Team. Occasional public holiday working may be required.

The Person

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Very well organised and vigilant at all times
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communications skills with good spoken and written English
• Excellent attention to detail

Main Duties

• Keep a constant check on the back door, never leaving the area unattended
• Security of the Clubs staff and goods delivery entrance, ensuring visitors, staff and contractors follow sign in procedures
• Check in agency staff
• Keep back of house areas clean and tidy
• Responsible for refuse disposal
• Monitoring of the CCTV system
• Security check of the building
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to

Salary: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
