We are looking for a Full Time Photography and Social Media Assistant who would be based at our Cambridge office, working in the Fine Art department.

A vacancy has arisen within our Fine Art department for an assistant photographer, with scope to also support our PR and Marketing team with content for social media.
The role will principally be to assist our in-house photographer with producing catalogue quality images of all lots consigned for sale, as well as multiple additional images for use on our various online platforms. Working across two sites and within (often) tight deadlines, the successful applicant will be involved in the photography of all disciplines, from furniture to paintings and ceramics to works of art, as well as assisting in the production of more lifestyle shoots.

What will it take to be successful?
- Experience and track record in object photography and image editing
- Interest and some experience in social media would be desirable
- Excellent photography skills
- IT literate
- Competent user of photo editing software
- An ability to multitask and engage in any required role within the business
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and within, often, tight deadlines
- A full driving license and own transport an advantage
- Ability to work well as part of a small, supportive team
- Drive and ambition to succeed
What will you be doing?
- Assisting our principal photographer with the production of catalogue quality images of all objects consigned to our specialist sales
- Being responsible for the production of all additional web images, including condition report imagery
- Managing image editing and liaison with third parties via dropbox where required
- Manage and upload images to printers
- Ensure images are correctly allied to stock records and updated as required
- Supporting our Marketing and PR team with content and ideas for social media
