Job description
We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our expand our existing Kitchen Team on a full time basis at Cedar Court Hotel, Bradford. Reporting to the Head Chef, your main duties will be:
- Washing dirty dishes, cutting boards, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Cleaning and sanitizing all meal preparation areas
- Sweeping and mopping all kitchen areas during shifts and at the end of shifts.
- Ensuring that food mixers, cookers, and other cooking equipment are in good working order.
- Receiving and unpacking all deliveries.
- Emptying, re-lining, and washing bins as required.
- Ensuring that refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas are clean and well-organized.
- Assisting the Chef with basic food preparation, which includes washing, peeling, and cutting meal ingredients as per the Chef's instructions.
You will be required to work any 5 days over 7, working a variety of shifts, including early starts and late finishes on a rota basis.
