We have an amazing opportunity for a hardworking and enthusiastic Housekeeper to work for a UHNW family based in their family home in Belgravia, London. This family of three is looking to appoint a hardworking and positive Housekeeper to maintain very high standards of cleanliness across their 5 floored, 3-bedroom property.
This fully staffed household has a chef, chauffeur, full-time nanny, another full-time housekeeper as well as a part-time housekeeper so you will be working as part of a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a warm, kind and friendly disposition, who works well with others and is drama free.
Our clients are looking for an all-rounder candidate who has exacting standards, a keen eye for detail, and can work both independently but is also happy to follow instructions when required. You will need to have excellent knowledge of cleaning products, know how to care for fine fabrics and finishes, have excellent laundry and ironing skills and be confident with food and beverage service when required.
Working a 6-day week, with 1 day off over the weekend, you will work in a rota pattern either taking the early or late shift. When the family is not in residence you will be able to have 2 days off at the weekend. The family is looking to appoint a Housekeeper to remain with them long-term. There are no pets at the property.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
· Cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
· Laundry and ironing, including delicates care
· Deep cleaning of all areas – walls, skirting boards, ceilings, etc.
· Polishing silver and glassware
· Cleaning marble, rare woods, and other fine materials
· Unpacking deliveries
· General tidiness and organisation of the home
· Rubbish and recycling management
· Ad-hoc duties as required
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· Prior housekeeping experience
· Fluency in English
· Eligibility to work in the UK
· Hardworking and dedicated
· High attention to detail
· Able to work independently with little supervision
· Trustworthy and reliable
· Excellent checkable references
