Sterling Foods to Go are looking for Full Time and Part Time Cooks and Trainee Cooks to join the team at our new store which will be opening soon in Frenchgate Shopping Centre.

Applicants must be friendly, well presented, hard-working and willing to work as part of a busy team.

Previous experience in a customer facing/food retail role is an advantage.

The Role:

• Preparation of all Food-to-Go products.
• Creation of merchandising displays.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Adherence to food safety regulations and completion of due diligence checks.
• Following all relevant company policies & procedures.
• Cash handling.
• Assisting in all areas of the store as/when required.

The Ideal Candidate:

Essential

• Excellent attitude towards customer service.
• Proactive approach to tasks.
• Productive and efficient working.
• Team player.
• Excellent timekeeping.
• A positive approach to learning and self-development.

Desirable

• Previous experience with food preparation.
• Previous experience within a fast-moving retail environment.
• Product display building / merchandising skills.

The Offer:

• Hourly rate dependent on experience.
• 28 days holiday, including bank holidays.
