Our client, one of the largest UK retailers, are currently recruiting for a Front-End Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. The Front-End Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the company website. The Front-End Developer will be using VanillaJS, HTML, WebPack and CSS.
Key Responsibilities for the Front-End Developer:

  • Understand best practice regarding development, implementation and performance

  • Assess frontend performance.

  • Maintain build pipelines.

  • Implement testing and ensure delivered tasks have tests in place.

  • Help colleagues improve their own development skills.

  • Coordinate with existing development team on tasks.

  • Give input on task specification and design.

Skills Required for the Front-End Developer:

  • HTML

  • CSS

  • VanillaJS

  • Webpack

  • Front-End Development Experience

  • Implementation for improving website performance.
