Front of House Manager
Forage Bar & Kitchen is a small, family-owned restaurant group with a mission to serve fresh, quality food in a casual, welcoming environment. We are looking for a supervisor to assist in the front of house and support our team members.
Responsibilities:
- Help maintain the cleanliness of the front-of-house area (e.g. removing trash from floors and counters)
- Support staff with any tasks that need to be completed
- Maintain stock levels and condition of product (e.g. rotate stock daily, check for spoilage and identify missing items)
- Support the General and assistant manager in the day to day running of the restaurant
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager/owner
- Ensure all staff are adequately trained
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant management, other food service fields or retail management
- Ability to work well under pressure and remain composed in stressful situations (e.g. busy restaurant)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to work well with co-workers of various backgrounds and experience levels
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers (e.g. at counter, via phone, etc.)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

Experience:
- Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
