TAMLITE LIGHTING is one of the largest Lighting Manufacturers in the UK, based in Redditch. This new role will report into the Marketing Manager, and take ownership of the digital strategy ensuring the highest standard of digital presentation, functionality, and visibility. Ideal for a Senior Digital Marketer looking to move into management.
About the role
As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will manage the day-to-day marketing activities of a small team of highly motivated individuals. You will also be responsible for developing engaging, high-quality content for our website(s) and range of paid and organic social channels, including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube as well as our blog, podcast and webinars to deliver on KPIs for reach, followers, engagements and ultimately lead generation.
You will need to be a talented wordsmith, able to write effective copy appropriate for a range of channels and audiences.
Working closely with our PR agency, Marketing and Technical teams, you will develop relationships that leverage insights and recommendations to feed into our digital marketing strategy and optimise budget spend to generate high quality engagement.
You will also develop media campaigns to drive brand awareness and generate leads for sales, providing a business case and expected ROI for proposed channels.
An analytical thinker, monitoring and reporting on organic and paid campaign results across a range of platforms to provide actionable insight. You will have a focus on continuous improvement and growth, employing an ongoing test and learn approach. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and agile, with the ability to pivot when necessary to capitalise on any relevant emerging trends or business needs in an exciting fast paced environment.
The Digital Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with and have ‘day to day’ management responsibility for a small team, to drive the overarching content strategy and produce the digital content schedule in line with evolving audience interests and overarching business goals.

Main Duties include but are not limited to:
- Managing the day-to-day workflow of a busy marketing team to hit agreed business deadlines.
- Develop the social media content strategy to align with business objectives in collaboration with the rest of the marketing team.
- Devising the social content calendar in line with seasonal priorities and adapting this to business and market needs, across our digital platforms.
- Ownership of online ‘content’ such as news stories, ensuring the website and social channels are up to date, including copywriting.
- Producing engaging, accurate, and relevant content in a range of formats and scheduling.
- Testing paid advertising creatives, CTAs and landing pages to provide continuous improvement of results.
- Writing high quality and SEO optimised copy for our websites and on a wide range of topics for use across a range of channels to drive relevant traffic to our website.
- Conducting research into our target audiences, market trends, new channels and marketing technologies and competitor activity and providing insight into digital marketing strategy.
- Producing regular reports into campaign activity and performance.

Minimum requirements:
- Line management or supervision experience
- At least 3 years’ experience managing social media channels
- Strong experience using paid campaigns for B2C lead generation, either hands on or through an agency
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional copywriting skills applicable across a range of media.
- Flexible and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic video editing skills through Adobe, or similar.
- Enthusiastic, organised and collaborative.
- Working knowledge of GDPR, data protection and privacy rules particularly with a focus on marketing requirements and liabilities
- The ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload as well as run multiple projects simultaneously
- Confident and credible communication and relationship management skills
Desirable attributes:
- Experience within the lighting sector
- Good working knowledge of video editing software.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in digital marketing.
- Copywriting or similar qualification.
- Experienced using HUBSPOT
