Job description
An exciting opportunity for a mid to senior level Lead Graphic Designer has arisen for a client of mine within the Hospitality industry. You will be Lead Designer in this role working closely with the in-house Marketing team.
You will be based on site in the Surrey area close to Woking for 2 days a week and the remaining days you can work from home.
Salary is up to 44k DOE.
As Lead Designer you will be responsible for producing high end graphics and illustrations across all print and digital channels. Including POS, promo materials, menus, posters, internal comms, social content, emails, web banners, pdf's and other marketing collateral.
As Lead Designer you will undertake a big and fast paced role and be part of a small and sociable team, report into the Brand and Marketing Director and work closely with the marketing and people teams and ensure all deadlines are met with the highest design standards whilst working to brand guidelines and maintaining a meticulous attention to detail.
To be the perfect Lead Designer for this role you must have:
- A minimum of 2/3+ years as a graphic designer (ideally within hospitality, retail, leisure or travel sectors)
- A strong portfolio showcasing previous design work (ideally from brands within the hospitality, travel, retail, leisure sectors)
- Excellent and demonstrable design skills creating seasonal targeted and sophisticated campaigns
- Happy to be hands on, bring a high energy, put forward creative ideas and have a passion and flair for creativity
- Strong print knowledge to set up materials for print and artworking skills - this role is 75% print
- Advance experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop software
- Illustration design experience would also be advantageous
