Job description
A popular tearoom near the entrance to Bradgate Park, we're well know for our great coffee and cake, as well as welcoming dogs, cosy log burners and our beautiful garden, not forgetting our delicious breakfast, brunch and lunch menus. We are just getting busier and so we're looking for Front of House Team Members and Baristas to join our friendly team. We get busy and you can expect to work hard but with that comes a great vibe and team spirit.
Experience is great but not essential as full training will be given. We're keen to talk to people who have worked in hospitality, maybe someone who loves hospitality but no longer wants to work evenings. We'd also happy to hear from you if you have had a career break for family.
We have 3 positions available. Each new team member will do 2 or 3 weekdays and one day each weekend, 9am - 5pm. We will also consider applications from anyone looking for full time, 5 days per week or someone wanting to work both Saturday, Sundays and bank holidays.
Imediate start available, but we will wait for the right person.
The role:
- Welcoming customers
- Preparing drinks, hot and cold
- Serving cake, brownies, tiffins, flapjacks etc
- Serving customers, taking order, being friendly and helpful
- Serving drinks and food orders to customers at tables
- Clearing tables
- Assisting with pot washing when required
- Occasionally assisting in the kitchen
- End of day cleaning

Due to our location own transport is essential as public transport is very limited although it is posssible to walk from Anstey. Please consider this before applying!

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every weekend

- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
