THIS JOB IS BEING POSTED ON BEHALF OF OUR CLIENT THE OAK TREE INN IN BALMAHA.
Job Description:
To assist in all operational aspects of the front of house service and ensure the smooth running and exceptional customer service.
Role Responsibilities: All responsibilities carried out in line with company SOPs (Standard operating procedures).
- Set up and maintenance of all restaurant service areas, always keeping clean and safe.
- Receipt of deliveries.
- Welcoming of guests to the business.
- All hot and cold beverages made to the highest standards, in line with the business SOPs.
- Serving of meals/drinks to guests.
- Notify the Manager or his/her deputy where stocks/supplies are low.
- Serving and preparing of various food items as the business needs require.
- Adhere to all business standards in every interaction with members and guests, colleagues,
- other members of the Fraser of Balmaha team and external suppliers and contacts.
- Manage all payment transactions in accordance with the company financial policies and
- procedures and to handle all transactions with diligence, honesty and integrity.
- Support colleagues at peak times and to undertake any extra operational duty which might be
- reasonably required, to ensure customer expectations are met at any of the Fraser Of Balmaha units.
- To participate in performance reviews with the Manager and to work towards objectives/goals set by the Manager, and to improve any areas of performance felt necessary by the Manager, in order to maintain an excellent level of service to customers.
Skills & Experience
- No experience required; all training will be provided.
- A real and genuine passion for customer service.
- Great listening skills.
- Organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of food and drink, able to talk passionate about your favourite experiences.
- Patience when dealing with all people, team members and guests
