About the role
You will be working within the Commercial and Connectivity team within the global IT function, working across four 6-month placements. You will complete your first rotation within our Product Management team where you will gain practical skills in Business Analysis and provide continuous support to the delivery of incremental changes across our software applications to meet the changing needs of the business. Your further rotations will focus on our larger scale and more strategic projects allowing you to apply and further deepen your practical skills as well as gain a greater understanding of wider IT project delivery.
The programme is varied, and your rotations will be defined by business need, allowing you to direct your learning opportunities whilst deepening your understanding of the global IT function and broader business.
Day to day responsibilities will vary depending on each placement but will include supporting analysis activity to elicit requirements and inform business decisions, working on the implementation and enhancement of information systems in line with business needs and ensuring benefits realisation. You will be investigating, analysing, and reviewing project or business documentation and producing business process and system flows following industry standard techniques, as well as understanding the business case creation process and providing information on business benefit and any considerations and complexities. You will have the opportunity to produce training materials and deliver training to business users to ensure changes and solutions are understood, as well a further range to tasks that will ensure that you are developing knowledge of core Business Analysis Techniques and applications through exposure to a variety of project methodologies.

About you
You will be contributing to the delivery of the next generation of Dyson technology, so you will need to be to be:
Be studying towards a relevant degree discipline. This can be in any subject area, but motivation and attitude are important to us, and you will need to be able to demonstrate a passion for business analysis
Able to evidence how you have applied your technical knowledge to solve problems, either through your university projects or as part of your extra-curricular activities.
Happy to build your own networks to learn from the technical expertise around you.
Creative problem solver with the ability to prioritise in a rapidly changing environment.
Passionate about Dyson and our technology to help us meet our ambitious future plans.
To be eligible you will need to have no more than two years of relevant work experience post-graduation (Phd students are not eligible for our graduate programmes).
Above all, you will want to have an important role in bringing the next generation of Dyson technology to the world.
