Front of House Barista/Assistant

We have a unique career opportunity for an energetic front of house Barista/assistant who has a natural eye for fine detail, we are looking for someone who has at-least one year experience in hospitality or managing a team, that are fluent in welsh or at-least to be learning the language, and that is organised and prepared to work on their own and as part of a team.

We are looking for a front of house supervisor/barista who identifies with the Let Them See Cake ethos and style, and will translate this through their work ethic, high standards and values. We are a small, close-knit team and we are looking for a positive, approachable personality with team spirit, can-do attitude and a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism and diligence.

WE OFFER:

  • Full time for right candidate, 3 month probationary contract (extension to permanent reviewed after 2 months)

  • 5 days (Wed-Sunday) Day time hours between 9:00am to 18:00pm)

The ideal candidate must:

  • Be dedicated to knowing our brand and product
  • Ensure the products leaving our production are of the highest standard and quality
  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner.
  • Be able to handle a high volume of orders coming in every day
  • Be a team player – respectful and friendly to other team members The success of the company depends on how well we all work together
  • Be willing to learn and work hard
  • Have excellent spoken and written communication skills (welsh is desirable)
  • Have at-least 1 year hospitality/ barista experience (desirable not essential)
  • Maintain and adhere to 5 star food hygiene standards (up to date level 2 food safety qualification desirable)

For the right candidate there is scope to grow and increase their role within the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
