A rare and much sought after full-time role has arisen within our Front of House Coffee Shop and Restaurant team.
Duties
- Assisting the Front of House Manager with day to day operations
- Responsibility for the management of the team in the absence of the Front of House Manager
- Ability to seamlessly manage Front of House operations and customer flow during breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea offerings
- Working closely with the Kitchen Team to ensure a five star customer experience first time and every time
- Attentive to any customer concerns whilst displaying a professional demeanor at all times
- Answering telephone calls and assisting customers with enquiries and bookings
- Supporting colleagues at peak times and undertaking any operational duty which may be reasonably required to ensure customer expectations are met
- Ensuring all duties are carried out in accordance with our full Health and Safety requirements, including food hygiene regulations and COSHH, licensing and employment regulations
- Maintaining of the highest standards in all other aspects of the role
- Keep abreast of trends and developments in the industry, such as menus or trends in consumer tastes
Essential Requirements
- Experience as a Restaurant/Café/Coffee Shop Assistant Manager or Supervisor/Team Leader in a busy fast-paced commercial and customer-facing operation
- Exceptional customer service skills
- First-class communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff
- Hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail
- Superior performance management and people management skills
- Positive and outgoing personality with energetic and flexible outlook
- Experience of IT systems and process and Word/Excel literate

*Working hours are flexible between 8.00 am and 5.30 pm, and will include alternate weekends and some evenings.
