ABOUT THE ROLE:Numatic International Ltd is the leading UK manufacturer of commercial cleaning equipment and home to the famous Henry and Hetty vacuum cleaner range.We have consistently seen healthy growth across our business and understand that technology is critical to driving future growth. As a result, our Information Technology and Digital Services department is transforming and growing so this role presents a unique chance to join a team right at the heart of this change in a beautiful part of Southwest England, located on the Somerset/Devon/Dorset border.We are looking for an experienced MERN Developer to join our Development Services Team.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the full web development life cycle, and be able to work independently as well as working collaboratively with other developers, business analysts and systems architects.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES· MERN Full Stack developers must write reusable, testable, and efficient code.· Familiar with Server-Oriented Architecture and RESTful Web Services.· Design and create high-quality apps. Apps will load quickly, will be scalable, and perform while accessing all of your device’s resources.· Follow release procedures.· Assist in the designing, planning, and management of a data migration process.· Identify and fix any technical problems.· Developers must have a background in both front-end and back-end development.· Practical knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript.· Strong experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.· Strong understanding of NOSQL Databases (eg.
