Front End Developer (w/Marketing Automation)
Job description
The role.
This role is for a front end developer who can apply great development skills to a wide variety of projects in an exciting and fast-moving agency. Joining a growing team, you would be a go-to person for web development, and integration into marketing automation platforms.
Reporting into the Technical Lead, the successful candidate will be involved throughout the development process, from taking briefs from the accounts team to creating high quality web pages, web applications, business apps. All this will be done using the latest web technologies mixed with cutting edge marketing automation software.

To deliver across a variety of projects to an extremely high standard of quality, providing the best digital experience for clients and their end users.
Key responsibilities.
Develop, maintain and improve digital solutions including websites, landing pages, e-mails, mobile apps and other systems based on provided designs. All using a combination of skills including but not limited to (we don’t expect you to know all of the following off the bat, so please do still apply):
HTML/HTML5/E-mail specific HTML
CSS frameworks (including bootstrap) and pre-processors
JavaScript and related frameworks such as React
PHP
Marketing automation platforms (including Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot)
A combination of CMS systems (including WordPress, MODX et al.)
App frameworks such as Cordova and React Native
Any experience with WHM, cPanel and general Linux based hosting environment experience would be advantageous
MVC frameworks such as Laravel
Database languages such as MySQL, Percona, NoSQL et al.
Maintain a high standard of development, making sure that attention to detail is given to all work and clients equally.
Take responsibility for your projects, working with other developers, project managers, designers, and SEO specialists in the wider agency to ensure work meets the required quality.
Particular attention to documentation, including commenting code appropriately and, where required, identifying and writing supporting documentation/articles in our knowledgebase
What you will bring.
Experience within an agency working as a developer would be advantageous – B2B agency experience would be even more so, but B2C would also be considered
A self starting attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
Experience and knowledge of working within marketing automation platforms to deliver integrated marketing campaigns
Excellent demonstrable web development skills with an eye for detail across platforms
Experience working with CMS systems, in particular WordPress – MODX or other commercial grade platforms would also be an advantage
PHP knowledge – any experience working with Laravel and/or MVC back-end frameworks would be an advantage
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
