Rock Hill Dermatology Center is the premier and first dermatology office in Rock Hill, SC.
As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient operation of our medical office. You will support providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Check in and check out patients
- Interview patients and confirm/document basic medical history
- Enter patient visit info into electronic chart
- Assist during medical examinations
- Fill out demographic info and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms to pharmacies, referring providers and patients.
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Order supplies as needed
- Cover front desk responsibilities when needed
Skills
- Proficiency in Medical Scribing using the ModMed EMA EHR System
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in Gmail, Google Docs & Google Sheets
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with EMA ModMed EHR is preferred
Schedule would be Monday-Friday with Friday being a half-day. Office closes at 1:00 PM.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
