Job Title: Frontend Developer - Sustainability, EVORA Global
Salary: Up to £60,000 dependent on experience
Location: London or Birmingham hybrid model

We are looking for a React/JavaScript Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include implementing visual elements and their behaviours with user interactions.
You will work with both front-end and back-end web developers to build all client-side logic. You will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions.
It is essential that you have:
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
- Strong understanding of ReactJS, Redux or other state management tools on complex SaaS (Software as a Service) products
- Good understanding of unit testing in React using tools such as Jest or React Testing Library
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
- Good understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Familiarity with JavaScript module loaders, such as Require.js and AMD
- Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Webpack
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Good understanding of browser rendering behaviour and performance
- Experience of developing in a CI/CD process
- Effective communication skills, with a good command of English in both speaking and writing to both technical and non-technical staff, as needed
