Job Description

A well established and leading interior design company are looking for a Freelance Midweight Interior Designer with experience in the F&B (Food and Beverage) industry to join their team. This position is required immediately for a minimum duration of three months. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working on Michelin Star restaurant projects and must be proficient in the use of Vectorworks software. This role is fully remote, so your own software and hardware are required.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and functional interior design concepts for F&B projects, with a focus on Michelin star restaurants.

• Understand and interpret client requirements, brand guidelines, and project objectives to develop design concepts that align with the client's vision.

• Create detailed interior design drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections, using Vectorworks software.

• Develop mood boards, material palettes, and sample boards to communicate design concepts effectively.

• Select appropriate furniture, fixtures, and finishes that enhance the overall aesthetic and functionality of the space.

• Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate implementation of design elements.

• Conduct on-site visits to assess project progress, provide guidance, and ensure design intent is being executed correctly.

• Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and innovative design techniques to continually enhance design output.

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including design revisions, meeting minutes, and correspondence with clients and team members.

• Adhere to project timelines, deliverables, and budgetary constraints.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Interior Designer, specifically within the F&B industry, with a strong focus on Michelin star restaurant projects.

• Proficiency in Vectorworks software is essential, as the role will involve the creation of detailed interior design drawings.

• A portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of interior design principles, spatial planning, and material selection.

• Excellent knowledge of furniture, fixtures, and finishes relevant to the F&B industry.

• Strong conceptualization and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, taking ownership of assigned tasks and meeting deadlines.

• Effective communication and presentation skills to interact with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.

• Flexibility to adapt to project requirements and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions.

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Interior Design or a related field.
