As we continue to expand our offerings and influence in the fashion world, we're seeking a talented and creative Streetwear Men and Women's Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team.
About the Role:
As a Streetwear Men and Women's Graphic Designer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our brand's identity through your innovative designs. You'll be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing streetwear collections that resonate with our target audience. Your understanding of urban fashion trends, materials, and garment construction will be essential in creating captivating pieces.
Duties Include:
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to understand design goals and brand direction.
- Research and analyze streetwear trends, cultural influences, and emerging fashion movements.
- Conceptualize and sketch designs for men's and women's streetwear collections, including apparel & accessories.
- Develop mood boards and colour palettes that align with each collection's theme.
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for production.
- Work in conjunction with the production team to oversee the sampling and fitting process, making necessary adjustments to achieve the desired fit and aesthetic.
- Maintain a balance between creativity and commercial viability to ensure designs resonate with the target market while pushing creative boundaries.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and cross-functional meetings to contribute to the overall brand strategy.
- Continuously innovate and explore new design concepts to keep the brand fresh and appealing to consumers.
Requirements:
- A portfolio of original design work with strong graphic skills. You must be able to show your work without reading.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- A love of design and an ability to think critically and creatively. You must be able to create designs that are both innovative and aesthetically pleasing. You must also be able to work autonomously with little oversight from your team members.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. You must be able to manage multiple projects at once while keeping track of deadlines and requirements. You must also be able to prioritize tasks based on importance.
