Spitfire Staffing is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our well established and successful clients in Hailsham.

Due to further success and an upturn in business, they are looking for reliable and hard-working candidates to join the team.

Title:
Forklift Driver

The Role:

• Pick goods & materials then load to racking or vehicles.
• Operate fork lift, pallet jacks, pump trucks and other types of warehouse equipment.
• Palletization and strapping of goods.
• Load & unload vehicles.
• Scan stock and loads with a bar code system.
• Bale waste and recycling.
• Receipt goods in and allocate to the relevant department.
• Ensure the manufacturing team has adequate supplies to ensure continuous production.

Details:
£30,451pa (Plus £125pm allowance if on nights)
Permanent

Days
Monday to Thursday = 0600 to 1645
Friday = 0600 to 1445

Nights
Monday to Thursday = 1630 to 0315
Friday = 1430 to 2300

Please note, this job is days or nights, not split shift. You will stay on either days or nights.

Requirements are:

• Counterbalance Experience - Essential
• Reach Truck Experience - Desirable
• Licence or certificate not essential as long as you have experience as you will gain an in house certificate.
• Must have its own transport due to lack of public transport related to shift times.
• Reliable and committed.
• Ability to listen, learn and take instruction (written & verbal).
• Sound numeracy skills and IT literate.
• Health & Safety knowledge.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,451.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
