We are hiring for a Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the smooth daily operation of the warehouse, including overseeing the placement of inventory and performing inventory checks. Our Forklift Operator will interact with multiple departments on a regular basis, so we are looking for a professional who is willing to assist other workers and take direction easily.
Responsibilities:
- Lift and move pallets of material efficiently.
- Use forklifts safely and as instructed by supervisors.
- Use a radio to communicate with supervisors and other employees.
- Monitor forklift parts and track supply levels.
- Follow all safety procedures when operating a forklift.
- Inspect the logbook to make sure entries are complete.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
