Production Forklift Driver

POSITION SUMMARY
To perform this job successfully, the forklift driver must be able to operate electrical power
industrial truck or liquid propane gas (LPG) sit-down or stand-up forklift with lifting devices. The
forklift driver must also understand receiving, loading and material handling after training.

- Sanitation and House Keeping 10%
- Other jobs assigned by supervisors 10%
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operate forklift by positioning forks on lifting platform, load pallets, skids, boxes,
products and transport/stock to designated locations.
- Follow the company safety policy and procedure to operate the forklift to support
production.
- Inspect and monitor the forklift performance to make sure it is in good working
condition.
- Receive shipments, unload shipments, verify shipments, sort and separate goods, log
goods receive, post goods receive, tag pallets, and move goods into designated locations.
- Check and record the stock movement document such as packing list, Delivery note etc.
- Perform inventory count.
- Load and unload material, pallets, boxes, and drums onto/off the trucks/container.
- Perform internal housekeeping, including change batteries, recharge batteries,
and clean working area, forklift and parking lot.
- Dispose trash to trash container and clean up around area.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by supervisors.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent education; and minimum of three
months forklift operating experience in warehouse environment and with effective forklift
certificate.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to speak, read, writes, and comprehends simple English. Ability to read a limited number
of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and
between series of numbers.
MATHMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and/or
oral form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, REGISTRATIONS
Industry forklift certificate is a must.
