As an independent provider, we work with all of the major telecommunications networks and suppliers, meaning we’ll always get the best deal in the market for our customers and partners.
The role is within the Daisy Communications (‘Daisy’) Finance team of Daisy Group. Daisy is a Private Equity backed business in the telecoms and IT B2B sector with turnover in excess of £200m and EBITDA £60m +, with ambitious plans to double over the next 5 years through organic and M&A growth utilising the sector dynamics and fragmented market.
Location: Nelson with Hybrid Working
Salary: Between £26-£32,000 DOE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30/9:00 - 17:00/17:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly financial reporting including analysis for Daisy Group and external investors.
- Cost centre management.
- Financial integration of recently acquired businesses including systems and completion accounts.
- Liaison with external auditors.
- Preparation of statutory accounts.
- Cash forecasting and management.
- Qualified accountant – ACA preferred – to 2 years PQE.
- Advanced MS Excel skills to a level enabling effective data analysis.
- Proficiency with current financial software (Sage).
- Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with both Finance and non-Finance.
- Strong attention to detail including awareness of contracts and legal documentation.
- Good follow-up skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines with an eye for accuracy and detail.
- A high energy level with creative problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- At all times demonstrate confidentiality, conscientiousness, and trustworthiness.
