Waste Recycling Operative/FLT Driver
Reporting Too : Site Supervisor
Place of Work : Llay
Mon-Thurs 7am-3.30pm

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to supervisor in the first instance
To use baling equipment once trained
Segregation of all recyclable waste
Sorting and stacking pallets into grades
To use forklift to fill relevant skips
Litter picking the whole site

Must hold current FLT Licence

To ensure all waste is segregated into the right bins/skips with minimal contamination
To ensure working area is kept tidy and free from potential hazards
Report any risks in respect of Health and Safety to the Director’s
To liaise with other site staff regarding any H & S issues
To ensure correct PPE is worn at all times as issued by the company
To ensure breaks are taken as per rota and instructed by supervisor
To give at least a week’s notice for holiday request

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.92-£11.50 per hour

• Wrexham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Waste Recycling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Forklift Licence (required)
