Warehouse Operative w/Forklift

Sparkford, Somerset

£11.50 per hour

Permanent Contract

We are working in partnership with highly reputable client, looking for Warehouse Operatives in Sparkford, Somerset on a permanent basis.

As a Warehouse Operative your duties will include:

• Handling of Goods in and Goods out
• Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and to be proactive to ensure that the parts are prepared correctly for shipping overseas.
• Ensure all goods received meet the expected criteria for quality, quantity & timeliness of delivery
• Ensure that the goods-in stores areas are kept clean and clear.
• Unloading & loading of containerized transport
• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 1 years warehouse and dispatch experience.
• Experience in order picking
• Full, clean driving license held for more than two years.
• Counterbalance license.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work on own initiative, independently and as a team player
• Must be able to communicate confidently
• Hardworking, self-motivated and enthusiastic. Able to work under pressure.

The available shifts and pay:

• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Successful candidates will be pro-active team workers, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
